Yes, it goes off like someone was actually trying to break into it, and this is after I hit the unlock button on my key fob like normal so I can get in to it...didn't hit the panic button or anything like that by accident. I have to press the override button once I get inside to shut it off. Very embarrassing out in the parking lot, especially when I have to reach down low for the override, like I'm trying to hot-wire it or something.
And no, it wasn't triggered previously. I locked it, let it arm like normal, reach for my key fob, press the unlock button, and the alarm goes off as it unlocks.
In a nutshell, the system works perfectly fine except when I try to unlock it...my key fob, wife's key fob, new batteries in each, it makes no difference...alarm goes off.
