what are my limited slip options?

I have a 2002 WJ 4.0L with Selec-Trac D30 front D35 rear. it's a daily driver and when the 4x4 is used it's like 95% for snow driving on the street but I'll occasionally find a muddy or snow-covered trail to explore. open diffs suck and I would like to upgrade but I want a diff that I can just drop in, I don't want an air locker or anything like that and I'd like to keep the stock ring and pinion ratio.

what have you guys used on yours? I'd like to hear thoughts of products specifically for WJs before I pull the trigger on anything. thanks

Re: what are my limited slip options?

Dave the easiest thing to do is find a used set of vari lock rears from a wrecked Quadra Drive WJ. They work hydraulically and don't tie into the Jeep in any way.I think that would be a great setup with the 242 case because you have so many drive options.I especially like the ability to have a totally locked up vehicle in Hi range. You cant do that in a quadradrive.I've been kicking around a 242 HD swap in mine for that reason.I dont know if the varilockers totally lock up but they are a vast improvement over the standard open diffs plus you would be moving up to a D35 front and a D44 rear which is a big bonus.
