Where is my PCM?

Re: 2002 Grand Cherokee 2.7 CRD. Is this "WJ" or a "WG"?

Hi all,

I am trying to locate the PCM on a UK registered (RHD) vehicle but all the manuals I can find show it as being on the RHS of the engine compartment, mounted on the bulkhead just inboard of the RH wing, which, of course, is where it isn't, because that is the location of the brake master cylinder and servo on a RHD vehicle.

Could somebody please tell me exactly where it is, with a picture if at all possible please.

Many thanks

Tony Norton

Re: Where is my PCM?

Hi Tony, yours should be a WG, same as mine, however mine is no CRD.
Where you not looking for the TCM some time ago as well?
Attached a page of the WG CRD manual, which shows the position of the ECM.
A PCM you will not find on the CRD.

Re: Where is my PCM?

Thanks for that Frank,

I think one of my problems is that I do not have a WG specific manual, which is why I'm having trouble finding things.

The page you sent me doesn't appear in any of the manuals I have downloaded. Could you tell me please, where did you get yours from?

Cheers

Tony N
