Re: Wj door problem?

I forgot what it's called but Mario had this problem with his Jeep.

Open the Door and you will see the Black Plastic or metal piece connected to the door. To find out where it is Open the Door and look in the Front Door Jam and open/close the door so you can see what clicking. You have to replace it. You can go to the dealership and buy it.

Re: Wj door problem?

Yeah u can install that on your own, just got to remove the door panel. Its fairly easy thou. I dont know how old the original door check is, but I broke one of the screws when I tried to tighten it when I was done. Took me longer to remove the screw than to fix the original problem. Just a headsup........

heres a link for you, its the cheapest I can find in ebay

Re: Wj door problem?

Mine is broken on my door also 99 JGC. It happened after I took the door off and fixed my window motor etc. I think it happened cause I didn't align it back right or something...is this possible? I mean, I just took the door off and put it back on and then a few weeks later this was broken...
