Talking Wj front prop removal

I have been sitting around wondering weather removing the front prop from my wj would damage the gearbox
Just haveing it rear wheel drive

Or would removing it fudge the box up ?

Re: Wj front prop removal

I had mine out for a couple weeks while I was waiting for my Tom Woods driveshaft to come in. It didn't do anything to mine. Is there a reason why you would want to run without it?

Re: Wj front prop removal

I had mine out for some weeks, awaiting a new CV joint, and it doesn´t hurt a thing. Mine is QuadraTracII, but i think that for the other T-cases its the same.

Re: Wj front prop removal

Drifting in a WJ = Accident waiting to happen. It's not made for fast and the furious type stuff like that lol

Re: Wj front prop removal

The only time I did it in a Jeep was in my old '97 Cherokee Sport 4X4 in the winter on ice lol
