WJ wheel hop climbing steep sand
I need help trying to solve a problem with wheel hop. I tried climbing a pretty steep sandy hill (took a Rubicon 2x to get up it) and when I started to lose forward momentum I started to get some serious wheel hop.
If it had better tires and didn't hop it would have gone right up that hill.
No lift, 245/65 17 Pirrelli Scorpions, Up Country stock suspension. It still has the original shocks but the Jeep only has 45,000 original miles. About 2,000 of those off road. Not bouncy or floaty on the hi-way like it has bad shocks.
Local Jeep dealer wasn't sure if new shocks would solve the problem. I am considering Skyjackers.
Any Suggestions would be appreciated.
