Did you fix your lights? You were trying to do stereo work while the battery was still connected and the truck was on? That's what I'm getting by reading your post.

If that's true, you probably blew a fuse. Check through all your fuses and look for the blown one, you probably inadvertently crossed a wire or two in the process of fiddling with your stereo

ok i will try that after i get this other stuff figured out. thats the least of my worries.

no way i just had my dash out unfortunetly and i didnt see any wires from the stereo that come close to the heater, but if i were you id check out the heater wires, fuses and relays first, if you go down where the passanger puts there feet and look up, your lookin at your heater box, the small square box is the resistor and the round one is the fan.
