Nice, I've still been looking to do this upgrade. I'm trying to convince my father to do it, any suggestions that might sway the decision lol?

Does he ever make turns above 5 mph in the jeep? If so addco's are a must!

In all seriousness the lack of body roll with the new bars is amazing. The vehicle feels planted on the ground, and if you zoom up a clover leaf you can still feel the g forces but as soon as you straighten out at the top you realize the vehicle wasn't leaning at all. I tend to corner fast and the jeep definitely feels more like its on rails.

Re: Addcos? Who needs em? (Aaron's attempt at a suspension upgrade thread)

Just a little tip for those that do the front addco sway bar, drill out the brackets and bushings and put in a grease fitting! It has been about 4 months since I installed the bar and the grease I put on must be wearing out, the bar is starting to squeak over bumps now. Not too obnoxious yet, but I definitely need to fix this soond or I will go bonkers

Just got my Addco rear sway bar from IRO. I was able to flex the stock one while filling up the rear diff. I won't be able to do that with this one.

Looking like the Addco bars are moving up the list after reading this thread...

Do it, you will love them! If you only do one, or just one at a time do the rear first, that's where the biggest difference is.

Smart man....

I can't speak for which one is more important...Aaron knows better. I did both at the same time and it's the best bang for the buck mod I've done so far. You go from minivan handling to sport handling in a just a few bolts.

Thanks Tony, I actually did both at the same time too but my original plan was just the rear. Going from 9/16" hollow rust to 1" solid steel has got to make a ton of difference though. The main difference in the front bar is it is solid instead of hollow, but its the same diameter as the factory bar.
