Yeah, I've noticed they had them. I haven't heard any quality experiences.

Have you heard bad things? I have an HID kit from them and I really like it. A bulb just burnt out but thats common with HIDs and it came with a lifetime warranty. Plus there tech support/customer service is pretty good.

I've never used DDM's LED's but several years ago I started out with a DDM kit as my first one (Seems like forever ago). I used a 55w 4500k kit. I've heard their ballasts are alright but their bulbs aren't too great.

Re: An Introductory Guide To Upgrading Your WJ's Interior Lighting To LED

but anyways back to the topic. I want to swap all my interior lights to white LEDs but I don't see it being worth it to spend as much money as V-LEDs wants me to. thats why I was thinking about ddms because they are so much cheaper.

I don't see there being a problem going with DDM. If you are interested in it I would say go for it and see how they do and if they don't meet your expectations go with something like V-LED's. I realize V-LED's is pretty pricy but they have an excellent reputation.

Re: An Introductory Guide To Upgrading Your WJ's Interior Lighting to LED

Oh they made the difference. But, I am having an issue with the Running/Brake lights burning out quickly. I go so frustrated that I have put regular 3157s back in until it gets warm enough to work on the car. I am thinking about a 25K resistor inline with the LED to cut down on the current drain....

Were they hyper-flashing since you didn't have resistors installed?

Re: An Introductory Guide To Upgrading Your WJ's Interior Lighting To LED

No, those lights are the red tail light/brake lights, they never flash. The back up (white) and the turn signals (yellow) are all fine. But the red lights (running/brake) kept burning out fast. I have seen a device at one of the LED sites that you are supposed to isert in series with the ground line, I may check it out again. I will find the animal and post a link to the info.

As for the hyperflashing, not a problem ever since I installed the 6 ohm resistors.
