Re: An Introductory Guide To Upgrading Your WJ's Interior Lighting To LED

The ones I ordered when I did my gauge cluster were from superbrightleds. What are the sizes for the manual A/C area and the EVIC and how many each? (Forgot lol) That way I can order them when I get off work tonight.

Re: An Introductory Guide To Upgrading Your WJ's Interior Lighting To LED

I haven't figured out the bulb for the EVIC yet, i just posted in pic of the bulb itself in hopes someone would recognize the match. as far as the manual a/c area the stock bulb is a PC74, so it would use the same bulb as the 12+ status indication lights on the cluster.

Re: An Introductory Guide To Upgrading Your WJ's Interior Lighting To LED

That's right, PC74s, I'll roll with the the T1.5-xHP from superbrightleds. Anyone know if the A/C and EVIC areas have the same type of film as the gauge cluster? If so, I'll get them in Cool White again, if not, I'll go with the blue.

Re: An Introductory Guide To Upgrading Your WJ's Interior Lighting To LED

update: I ordered my interior leds today as the sunvisor ones were back in stock from vleds so I took the opportunity to order the rest of the interior lights. None were ordered for the gauges or the hvac/evic but it did inspire me to do some more searching. Found some info that says the replacement bulb is #74 for Mopar # 04437661 (the 4 EVIC bulbs, not the #192 dome lights, as seen here http://wjjeeps.com/evic2.jpg ) This would mean it uses the same bulb as the 5 in the gauges and anyone who hasnt ordered those yet should order 9 instead of 5. This is my plan for my next led order. Up next is determining how many of the tiny bulbs are in all 4 door handles.
