Electric trailer brake hook up

I have a 2014 Grand Cherokee limited 3L I want to fit electric brakes for my Caravan. The problem is I am not able to locate this grey connector in the footwell that I read about, the main fuse box has a 30 amp fuse fitted so the vehicle must have this plug you would think. The other thing is the trailer plug harness has been connected in, it is not plug and play. Can anyone help😟

Re: Electric trailer brake hook up

The dealer has to activate the trailer harness. Dealer only. Might as well let them show you the brake plug while you are there anyway.

Re: Electric trailer brake hook up

Did it come with factory tow package?

I know that the instructions for the Mopar aftermarket wiring kit for 14+ Durangos do not connect the brake controller wire (they say to tape it up under the PCM) .. not sure about the GC kit..
