Re: How to Plasti Dip your wheels

Hmmm you have me very interested... Not only does that look amazing, it's easy, and gave your jeep a whole new look. And it's removable!

Now I'm just wondering if it will work on my 07' Limited Rims. Maybe I'll test it on my spare tire this weekend.

Re: How to Plasti Dip your wheels

One can will do 4 wheels but you will need 2 cans to coat a second time around which I recommend for durability AND finish.

I only did this on Sunday so really, only 3 days of usage. Well 2 since I didnt drive the Jeep today....so far. We had heavy rain yesterday, I've put on about 150Kms in the last 2 days, all HWY and so far so good.

Someone told me since it's a light rubber type coating that it might mess up the wheel balance

Re: How to Plasti Dip your wheels

Okay so I bit the bullet myself, went out today and got two cans of it for $12. I'm gonna go make myself a thread so I don't hijack yours. Thanks for the inspiration though!

Just made my own post, got some before and after pictures too, and I'll have some better quality pictures when I do the rest of the wheels on Friday.
