Re: How to Plasti Dip your wheels

I'm a little bit scared of doing this. I change out my tires for the winter and summer time so new tires are going to be put on my rims 2 times per year, so I'm wondering if the paint can hold up to the tire shop putting on the tires. Plus if I do something to my wheels, I will be doing it with the tires off so I can do the whole rim, not just the face of the rim. Have anyone used this paint and had to change out their tires?

Leonexx, post pics when you're done. We have the same wheels and I am thinking about doing it too. Thanks bro.

Re: How to Plasti Dip your wheels

Crap... I was going to do the same thing and just leave them on. Did you finish the job or just call it quits after? I want to do this but I don't feel like taking my wheels off. Keep me posted dude.

Re: How to Plasti Dip your wheels

Haha! What about spraying a coat and then moving forward a few inches to rotate the wheels? How did they look black though?
