Talking use non ho 4.7 block on 04 wj ho 4.7?

Salutations greese monkeys! .. ok here's wut..I got my 04 wj ho apart and crankshaft in my kitchen.. my #8 crank bent jammin the floating piston rod thru the cyl wall.pistons in pieces of course.. QUESTION: can I use what year jeep or dodge> non< 4.7 H.O.block from salvage yard..in my H.O.2004 overland which has H.O. crank and ho heads and ho domes...are the blocks the same? Mine has one cps rt side rear near starter area and one one sensor on the right camshaft time chain area .. I guess that's what they mean by stereo?.if non h.o. doesn't hace one of the sensors perhaps I can drill tap in non block for those sensors to fit?

Let me know if u know about this thanks much!! Dave ski titusville. Fl

As far as i know are the blocks the same, i only wonder where the two knock sensors (on HO) are mounted to.
Standard V8 and HO both have one crank sensor above the starter and one cam sensor on the right cylinder head front side. The HO uses different material main bearings, so they have to be changed for sure.
