Re: Steel Armadillo Super Sliders

We could certainly attempt to add a cover there, I need to get my hands on a Wk to tweak them.

That's awesome to hear, Jon! Thanks for going above and beyond. I'd lend you mine if I weren't on the other side of the country. I'd be happy to take measurements but I know you couldn't produce and sell without a test fit.

Re: Steel Armadillo Super Sliders

Thanks, maybe one of the Wk owners of the Steel Armadillo Sliders can come up with something and send it to me also.

Re: Steel Armadillo Super Sliders

Do the mounts for these sliders require any drilling or cutting?

You have to drill 8 holes on each side to install the nut-certs that hold the sliders in place.

Re: Steel Armadillo Super Sliders

And I assume if I ever wanted to take these off and put the side skirts back on these holes would not be an issue?

The nut-certs are flat against the surface so they would be hidden behind the replaced skirt. You would most likely leave bolts in the 6 nut-certs under the body to protect them but it would not be needed if you never intended to put the sliders back on.

Re: Steel Armadillo Super Sliders

Just wanted to post a quick up date. The main fabricator is hard at work on the 2x4 and round tubing and those will all be finished this week I am told. The water jet guy told me a part broke on the machine and that should be fixed today so he can cut the mounts so that we can weld them on the end of the week or early next week.

I am sorry for the delay but I hope to get all five sets shipped sometime next week. I will keep you posted.

Refunds will issue soon as well for those who paid full price.
