1972 MG Midget

I have a love for classics. Be it European, Japanese or American there is just something do darn sexy about classic cars.

This is a link to my facebook album. A few shots I took about a year ago of my MG midget (1972). I love the darn thing. I stopped working on it for a while simply because I've been having a lot of problems finding the right parts here in Kuwait and it's been expensive shipping everything in (can't get everything in at once, so it's been killer).

Anyways, enjoy the album!

EDIT: My original plan was to start a company here rebuilding classics with small modern touches, but never got enough funding. This car and all the current work done to it has been done by myself and a friend in his garage (thankfully he's giving me space in his garage and his time for free, I just pay for the parts. It's been difficult here, very difficult. Buut life goes on. Gotta get back to working on her soon).

Joe here is a link you might be interested in. This is just a few minutes from my place. I've never stopped in but I hear they are awesome. A friend of mine used to have a butterscotch yellow '72 Midget. Ton of fun once you get the carbs right. http://www.the-roadster-factory.com/indexmain.php

Re: 1972 MG Midget

Awesome site!! The carburetors (sp?) ain't in too bad a shape actually. Just needs a little cleaning up though I'd rather throw in some newly made ones in. I want to fully get her brand new and sell her off! Soon I hope once my finances are in order. That site is quite inspiring though! Thanks mate!
