^^...but that's not murdered yet. Blacked out yes, but not murdered. You need flat or satin black paint job to be called truly murdered.

^^Now THAT is murdered! Phucking BEAUTIFUL!!!

I must say again, I'm not trying to steal any thunder form the Blackout crowd, but calling a gloss black car murdered just isn't true. Blacked out cars look great, but the whole point of calling something murdered is the risk. Murder, in short, is the riskiest crime. How risky have you been if you can't bring yourself to mar the gloss black stock paint?

I am almost always the only 20s something guy that would rock a minivan modded or not. Just think about the room for sounds and girls

EXACTLY! I think of it this way; Do you "make" your style, or do you let your style make you? (Style being fashion, cars, gear, etc.). A real man secure in his identity can rock anything in style.

Besides, who decided minivans were for soccer moms and emasculated men anyway? The media? PFFFFFFT! Stop the conformity, please! My family had one of the first 1984 Dodge minivans on the block. By the time I could drive, that was the vehicle I had the keys to. I NEVER had any shortage of buds to cruise with, nor did we have ANY problems picking the girlies up in a van! Those rear seats got a LOT of play!

Back in high school, the single hottest ride I can remember anyone having was my buddy Blake with is GMC Safari. Custom yellow paint job and Chrome wheels. EVERYONE wanted one back then.

Re: A "Carnival" of fun!

Those Astro/Safari vans were and still is bad ass. I had one for a company car...... quick little V6, room for miles, and bulletproof drivetrain. Sucks that they got the boot.

kids nowadays need to learn true definition of murdered out and how much it actually costs ... then they'll think twice before calling a blacked out car murdered

Re: A "Carnival" of fun!

I've been toying with the idea of murkin' out my pos daily driver. It's paid off and it's a beater so I figure why not. I had a CF hood I bought off someone a few years back and it got weather and cracked so I decided this summer I was going to paint over it. I primed and sanded and once I saw it all flat black, I liked it. I've been debating on doing the whole car that way. Just don't feel like preppin the whole car but want to do it right if I do. She's got bumps and bruises anyways so might just say F it a do it when the weather finally gets nice and stays nice. No garage

Re: A "Carnival" of fun!

Tony, what kind of car is your beater?
Most of the time, black amplifies dents and blemishes, but maybe flat or satin won't be so bad.

Re: A "Carnival" of fun!

A 03 Mitsu OZ Lancer. No it's not and Evo but I've put her through hell and I've put 127k HARD miles on it. Drove her like she was an Evo most of that time.
