Rob, I would have to agree wholeheartedly with your definition of the word 'murdered' when applied to the description of the exterior appearance of one's vehicle

And Scott.. you know you need a little px8 in your life... paint that roof!

just a tad

Quoted at $4-$5k to have my entire truck done in a nice Matte black. Keep in mind there are less "legit" alternatives out there for fraction of the price that look "pretty good" but again, you get what you pay for . . . to a point lol

This is a 1999-2001 Kia Carnival minivan with the beginnings of a TRUE murdered theme.(apologies to any blacked out rides, but true murdered is flat/satin paint AND blacked out trim)

The hood scoop is stock and functional, more importantly, so is that phat-azz intercooler taking up the front fascia!

I've said before, the Korean Domestic Market products they keep for themselves are not anything like the cars we know them for. Carnivals( Sedona in the USA), are usually diesel, AWD, manual shift, and really a very rugged machine. A good Korean friend of mine has a 2009 fully loaded diesel automatic, leather, TV's and the works, and it's a very capable ride. This one certainly looks modified. I've noticed a lot of modified diesels around lately, and the Drag Nationals they have near Seoul now have a diesel bracket.

I have to say, not bad for a mini-van. I'd sport it.

The (true)murdered theme is also catching on around here. I've recently seen an I30 hatchback done up in satin black.
That is a steaming pile of turd!
lol

The hood scoop is only "functional" when the piss-ant little factory intercooler is mounted atop the puny pissweak rattly shit-can diesel engine.
This toss-pot has obviously placed a China brand intercooler down the front for massive kudos and extreme power increases (note sarcasm) to his God-awful pus ridden recycled Korean army helmet absolute pile of Crap (note lack of sarcasm).

So ummmmm... yeah, I'm not a big fan. lolz

And as for "true murdered".... what a joke.... little chrome bits on it, silver shit on the wheels..... its an abomination! Let's not even mention the foooolly sic body kit that doesn't even fit or line up properly!

I would have jumped on that 4-5K price. Go to a proper, show-worthy-finish producing body shop, and you could easily see a price of double that quote, in flat, matte or gloss! I think the cheapest paint job West Coast Customs offers is 20-25K USD, but I'm not sure.

But, I also know a guy with a show/trophy winning car, and it was painted by Maaco of all places. He's even won best paint a few times. I think his total out-of-pocket cost was under $500.
