Re: Asking my US brothers..... what say you?

What disappoints me is they don't make them in just an extra-cab now? either single cab, dual cab, or fkn epic cab! (My mate told me I could easily lay in a double matress inside the rear of the epic cab for Ron jeremy times?

The "extended" cab hasn't been available for years. Almost a decade? I'm not sure, but it seems like late 90's/early 2000's were the last Dodge extended cabs.

Re: Asking my US brothers..... what say you?

I went to Boerne Dodge today to get a cel code pulled(predator wontt pull tcm codes) Anyway, talking with the head mech about this thread and he recommended egr delete to the 6.7 will decrease service visits and increase mpg's to 25 rather than 12 mpg.

I've heard talk of this too, but I'm not going to claim any knowledge of it. Are you sure about those numbers? I didn't think the 6.7 got such crappy mileage to start with, and I don't think a simple egr delete would double it. ...but I don't know so much about diesels. Only that it should be the preferred fuel.

Re: Asking my US brothers..... what say you?

I'm no diesel mech., but that is what he said. The svc mgr agreed but they are not supposed to talk about it, or do it, or refer customers to who can do it. They told me that it should cost around $2000 to $2500 and said they only mentioned it because the truck may go overseas. You are not just deleting the egr valve, but the whole system. That system is what is causing so many to trade in their newer trucks for the ole 5.9 due customers buying the trucks and not using them for what they are intended. Hauling long and hard, not idleing around getting groceries. The system gets clogged up. I bet their is a forum on these with more info, but dont stray long from JG
