Re: Fake SRT's

I love making people wonder what just went flying by them...or what is creeping in the slow lane. I have had so many guys (idiots) come up and ask what my Jeep is. Only thing that says Jeep is rear emblem (black) and SRT is on the hitch cover and small on each wheel. Some people love badging, I do not

Was driving home from Rennsport last weekend and a guy in an 80's BMW 3-series went flying around us and ended up in front of us...my girl looked over at me and asked "isn't the M badge on the wrong side of the trunk lid"? I almost spit my coffee up and said that's my girl!!

This is a proud moment.

My fiance said yesterday ..."Why does your car attract aholes?".
I seem to believe the ahole per capita ratio has increased and hope it's not my Jeep.

Yes my friend it was...reached over, grabbed her hand and kissed it!!

A-holes or as my girl refers them to D-bags! HAHA it's a per/capita thing, and it increases with the Jeep as if we were in a Cayenne or Q5/7 (examples) nobody gives them a second look, let alone will come talk to you about them. I think our girls would get along very well

I agree, fake badging is pointless if you have a v6 jeep be proud of that v6

Re: Fake SRT's

I've always liked the idea of debadging depending on the circumstances of use. However, my SRT will not be debadged; hopefully.

I've actually seen two Fakes so far. Both white, spider monkeys, red painted calipers, and SRT taillights. Decent looking cars. One of the two is about a half mile from me. I parked next to him at a best buy after spotting the rear end of the car, thinking maybe there would be some camaraderie. There was not.

However, the only other SRT I've seen was a nice black 14-15. It pulled up behind me and I instantly recognized the dimples in the hood. I believe there was an exchange of raised thumbs.

Re: Fake SRT's

who cares! I mean really. if you like your own rig, you like your own rig. I've seen my exact same ride with all kinds of stuff I wouldn't dream of doing, but that's their rig, not mine... enjoy your ride. who cares about other peoples. worrying about what we cant control and things that don't effect us directly, doesn't do anything, but raise your heart rate.
enjoy your srt8
