Yup. I've already found the internals I'll need to run boost. The turbo setup itself will be custom. Only things in my way is money and finding a shop to tune it

Re: Fake SRT's

I think, that's about what I want, but I will stick there because I want to keep as much sick as I can.

Re: Fake SRT's

From my understating the 5.7's are pretty Stout, so I figure 4-8lbs of boost will do the trick.

I don't think that's bad at all, if anything it's functional because it allows the hot air under your hood to get out. I thought about doing the same for my wife's 5.7. I guess what I'm saying is you're not labeling it to be something it's not, you're just taking a good product and making it better. Post pictures once you install it!

Re: Fake SRT's

I read most of the comments in here and i just wanted to chime in as a potential 'Fake SRT" As a normal college student who isn't sponsored by their parents i was not lucky enough to have an SRT as my first car. So i simply made the best with what i had. And yes you can say if i saved all the money i put into my jeep and sold the jeep i'd probably have enough money to buy an actual SRT. But i was and still am an impatient kid So took my stock jeep and customized it so that every time i looked at i'd think to myself, "damn i got one nice ass car" And i like to think i do regardless of what anyone says. So with that being said here is my SRT6 (SRT suspension, exhaust, CAI, Reps wrapped Yokohama's, and much much more)

Re: Fake SRT's

IMO I dont care if your Jeep has 1200hp and looks EXACTLY like an SRT.
If it's not an SRT it shouldn't have any SRT logo's on it.

I'd love to get an SRT8 steering wheel IF I can find an airbag that fits properly and doesn't say SRT.
I'm not into false advertisement.

If anything do what the JK guys do and make up your own model.
