Had to do it!

The Overland started with the rear end clunk, the power steering pump noise and ridiculous amounts of rust from the wheel hubs at the same time I was considering a new SRT. Because of the horrible gas mileage, and these issues, I shopped around, and ended up buying an Audi SQ5. Infinitly better fit and finish, 4.8 0-60 times, and 16-23 MPG pretty much sold me.
I put sooo much time and money trying to get that 5.7 to move, and for all the effort, the best I got was 6.75 second 0-60.
Was sad to let the Jeep go, but it just wasn't the car for me.

It isn't quite as fast as an SRT...but pretty damn close! Price is in line with an SRT. I was told that Audi dealers would not negotiate, but that is not true. I got them down to 8% below MSRP.
I won't be doing any engine mods for now.Hell....I'm still breakin her in! Maybe smoke the tail lights, and get rid of those dumb badges on the front fenders. A subwoofer is definitely required... The B&O stereo system is exceptional, but as is always the case with factory stereos, there just ain't enough bottom end. I would like to change out the springs for Euro springs, which are about an inch lower. Seems as though there has to be a certain amount of ground clearance to be able to import SUVs as trucks, which gives importers some advantages with EPA regulations. But I'll wait to see how it works for other guys first. It handles great now and I'd hate to mess it up.

Re: Had to do it!

Sorry to hear about the jeep going away but congrats on the new audi! I seen one in person here in korea and it seemed small compared to even my 08.
