Food for thought...This was before the famous GTO was called a goat...64-67 was called "GTO Tiger."

This is my father and I's (sp?) 1968 Corvette Stingray Convertible in International Blue (I say I in that I drive it occasionally lol, and mainly in hopes it may one ay make it down to me

Has the 427 in it currently being resto-modded

My Dad just got his hobby lift in I believe so we can finally start getting some work done on this bad boy. She runs great and all and is registered w/ QQ plates but she is farrr from where we want and that being back to showroom quality lol.

Hes definitely been stock piling factory parts in the shop for a years now waiting for the time to come and I think it is finally here. The shop has heat, all the tools we could need and the final piece begin the lift is in place so I think were almost there. Hope to have her done and ready for paint by the end of summer possibly. Hope you guys like her, she sure is fun to drive, real fast and real smooth, handles like a Vette should

"This is my father's and my..." is one way you could say this correctly.

Generally, when stating actions, in this case, owning, by multiple persons, think of how you would say it if it were only you; "This is my...". Then think of how you would say it if it were not including you; "This is my father's...". Give courtesy to the other(put youurself last) and that will most likely be the correct way to say/type it.

Another easier way would be "My father and I own..." get it? I'm an English teacher, so trust me on this.

That being said... NICE VETTE!!! I have always been a Corvette/Stingray fan!

This whole thread is auto-porn!

Thanks for compliments and haha wow thnx for the free english lesson and also for the highlighting of my elementary mistake But I must say, it makes a lot of sense. Im asuming I would have eventually figured that out

I was always pretty solid English student throughout school. Grammer was probably my weak point; although Im a terrific speller (even w/o spellcheck ) and have a thing for creative writing and the techniques that make for some of the best, or so I like to think lol

No problem. From middle school to university, of all the papers I wrote, the lowest grade I received was one "B". That includes all of the papers I wrote for my friends or for money to fund my social life. I was published a few times in the late 80's and early to mid 90's. I am a certified ESL teacher in Korea, and starting my certification soon for English Language Arts to teach in the USA.
