Lemme guess, is the orange car beside it a Falcon XW GT?

Ray, superb Charger mate, unbelievable condition! Toowoomba has some of the best conditions for keeping cars in Oz I reckon
HEY CHARGER!
Do you have any idea how annoyed at myself I am when I passed up multiple chance to own genuine E49's for 10k several years back?? lol

That's great, now just take some advice from the knowledgeable people on here and you will do fine with that too.

Ben answered that in his post. It is a 1970 XW Ford Falcon GT. I will post some pics of it in the future.

That wasn't hard for you, hey Ben. I know how you feel about the E49s, but at the time it is hard to know which way the market will go.

Re: My 1978 Aussie Charger

Yeah we had some fantastic Aussie muscle cars through the 60's and 70's. Most ran various versions of the traditional chev/ford muscle engines, but with unique bodies to suit our Aussie tastes.

The Ford Falcon GT was really the first 4-door "Supercar" anywhere in the world. The best examples have fetched close to one million dollars, so it's probably in all out best interests to be very very nice to Raymond. lol

Thanks Hannes. As far as I know I am the 3rd owner. I bought it from a friend of mine in 1995. He owned it for a lot of years and for most of them it was stored in his garage. I parked it for a while and them decided to register it for road use in December of 1996. We used it as a second car, enjoying many trips including a couple of long ones to Sydney and Melbourne, until December 2001. I canceled the registration at that time as it was becoming too expensive to have two V8s road registered, $712.05 for each car in 2001. It has been stored in my garage since then. I really miss driving it.
Ray

Re: My 1978 Aussie Charger

Thats cool Ray...

Thats is lot of money you have to pay to be able to drive it on the road....perhaps save up and re-register it for a year or so...?

Yup....thats where I'm at Dylan...
