Cyanide is a splendid one to behold
My new ride...

I'm finally back y'all, but not with a Grand Cherokee. After multiple rentals of crew cab, short bed pickups over the last year plus, it became quickly apparent that once again, a small truck would better suit me concerning my needs and wants vice an SUV.

So, a couple weeks ago I pulled the trigger on this '07 4WD Sport Trac Limited w/41k on the ticker. It's pretty much loaded with every option available with exception of sunroof, flip cage bed extender, and dual-zone climate control, which is fine by me.

Rides quiet and smooth as silk, and though not my old 'Niner in terms of raw, bottom-end torque, it's plenty quick enough for me (for now). Needless to say, it feels absolutely f'ing great to have my own truck again after all the BS I've dealt with these last (almost) four years!

Y'all be safe and have a great night, look forward to catching up as best possible.

;-)

Re: My new ride...

I like it!
I have a Focus that I've been thinking of trading in toward a Sport Trac lately ... I really want a lifted Wrangler but could really use more storage/cargo capacity than a Wrangler offers, and the Sport Trac would certainly make for a better highway cruiser ...

Good luck with it!

Re: My new ride...

My father has had 3 of them, and loves them. He was mortified that they stopped making them. Really, just awesome vehicles, as long as you don't plan on renting from U-Haul.

The V8 is the way to go in them. Just make you change out the plastic spark plugs quickly to the newer style ones.
