New Honda Pilot - enlarged CR-V

I know it's been a while since Honda presented new 2016 model year Pilot, but still, only recently I started to catch these cars on the road. I think it looks way better than previous generation I mean previous box-like design doesn't fit to concept of family vehicle.

What do you think about the car?

Re: New Honda Pilot - enlarged CR-V

I have a second gen pilot at home and actually like the look on mine more then the new one. To me it looks like they made a bigger CRV which I never liked.

I too had the last generation. I thought it looked better.

It also was a great vehicle.

Re: New Honda Pilot - enlarged CR-V

Agree I liked the previous model better it at least looked like an SUV, this one is another minivan. There was a highend 2016 one in front of me at the drive through it was slathered in chrome, it was as much if not more than the summit. these newer vehicle platform launches seem to be getting more chrome instead of less, I don't understand it

Re: New Honda Pilot - enlarged CR-V

I am sure it is a nice car but I personally don't like the front wheel drive / transverse mounted engine configuration of many of the SUV's out there. I like the true 4x4 system, longitude engine layout, and capabilities of the jeep. The Honda would be just fine to get groceries and deal with slippery streets. The GC provides a great balance of driveability, comfort, and off road capability.

Is it a rebadged Pathfinder?
