lol at some of the responses...

Kia and Hyundai will soon change the public's perception of them. It takes a year or 2 for models to filter over to the US, but there are some cars coming out of Korea that will surprise the hardest critics.

Re: New K7

I think it's funny... when the US copies a design or tech idea, it's called "inspired"... when someone else does it, it's called "copying".

Good cars? Yes. But are there better American cars? Hell yea

Even the POS Chevy Aveo is better than a comparable Kia/Hyundai. Don't ask me how I know that

Name a American car that loses to kia/hyundai?

You do know the Aveo is from Korea too, right? It's a Daewoo Kalos(GM bought Daewoo, imported the Kalos and named it the Aveo). And no, it's not a better quality car. Even in Korea, Daewoo is considered the cheaper, lower quality product. Someone has to be the bottom, and in Korea, it's Daewoo.

Re: New K7

The "new" Chevy Spark, the little eco-friendly car that should make all the tree huggers go gaga, is just the Daewoo Matiz, a car that's been in Korea for about 15 years.

Never made a point that it wasn't but since you say it, the Kalos was one of the 1st cars made after GM took it over. Look at other "Daewoo's" and tell me that it isn't a Chevy. The point is that the Chevy Aveo is better quality than a comparable Kia/Hyundai. Back when I had that thing has a company car, I beat the living hell out of it and it still never went into the shop for a warranty problem. Hell, that thing was even good (for a FWD) car in the snow.

What Hyundai look like the WK2?
