From Motor Trend:
After entertaining the idea of a sub-Renegade Jeep, Manley also let some details slip on the new Jeep Grand Wagoneer. The full-size SUV will seat up to seven people, and will be bigger than the old Jeep Commander. The Jeep Grand Wagoneer is expected to share its stretched chassis with the Dodge Durango, and will likely debut later this year.

I just posted about this about 3-4 days ago in the waggy forums. I was told the 2017 GC would be pushed back to a sept. debut as usual and the waggy fast tracked. Manly wants it out there NOW!

In other words, STILL not coming anytime *soon*.

Sigh. This Jeep is made out of Unobtainium. :p

...if then.

;)

I'm thinking NYIAS 2016 for a debut... but which one? WL or WS? Hmm... or both?

...or no auto show at all?!

One has to read that article carefully:

I think the details that Manley "let slip" were "The full-size SUV will seat up to seven people, and will be bigger than the old Jeep Commander."

But those details were a given.

I think that Motor Trend added: "The Jeep Grand Wagoneer is expected to share its stretched chassis with the Dodge Durango, and will likely debut later this year."

NO WAY will you see it this year, although you *might* see some rough cameo'd mules running around later this year.

I'd just like to add that all you're going to see is a MULE.

Hacked up vehicles with NO hint of WL styling at all.

I just wish we could get some more info. I will be ready to finally get out of my minivan in two years (or less) and want to start thinking about choices for three row vehicles. I took a look at the new Tahoe the other day. It is nice, but I want to stick with Jeep if they can put together a nice product

Milous/Marlon - any idea on when we can expect some more info/details?

mark my words.... it won't be released until 2017. How do I know?

That my friend is a secret. A secret that none of the others are aware of yet.
