History Took delivery of this car on November 4, 2011 my original plan was to simply add the trim parts to make her look like a limited. I had started acquiring parts for that and was well on my way too stop spending money but fate said differently.

When photos of the SEMA "MOPAR STREET JEEP" and Altitude package concept surfaced I liked many of the styling cues from that appearance package. Not really being a fan of the blacked out grille I opted for color matching the grillle and rear brow. I also was not a fan of the blacked out wheels so I got few styling ideas of my own. And since the Altitude did not have any changes on the inside I decided to address that by adding some sporty changes to match the sportier exterior.

....... Yeah right fate has been the designer of my truck as many of the parts have fallen in my lap in one way or another. I have just been going with the flow to see what the final product will be.

So come back often as to see what changes fate makes to my ride.

The underlying theme of this build is

"Minor Modification"

I realized that even though I have been using mostly OEM parts and accessories to improve my Laredo that each part had some sort of minor modification to be fit to the jeep. The headlights are modified as well as the front plate holder. So even though the finished product is supposed to appear like it left the factory this way, it is far improved from when it actually left the factory.

They always say you are never finished modding, I guess they are right so visit often to see what gets added to the list of mods.

Re: The "Luxredo" :: 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Very nice, man. Nice subtle touches.

What do you think of the beige interior? I really like it and think it's quite classy compared to an all black interior but worried about it getting dirty, especially the floor mats, and looking dingey after a while. What's your experience been? Any regrets?

My interior is actually grey, I guess over time the floor mats will get dirty, I currently use TUFF STUFF upholstery and carpet cleaner on the floor mats and carpeting every month or so.

I love the grey too just wish the carpeting was black like the limited.

If you got a limited with the real beige interior the floor mats and carpeting are actually black so that helps with coping with the beige interior.
