Hi again..... Is there a better engine selection between the 2.4 L - 2.4 PZEV or the 3.2 V6? Will either have all the issues with the 9 speed transmission or have those been worked out??
If you like the power get the 3.2 v6 and as for mpg i get 32 on the freeway on short trip like 150 miles round trip and 20/23 intown. I never been on a long trip yet. My daughter has a 2015 chrysler 200 with the 2.4 and get has decent power from the start but after that theres not much going on and in town her mph runs around 24 so its a tad better than my 3.2 v6 and the hp on both motors are 2.4 184 hp and the 3.2 v6 is 271 hp. The 9 speed so far has been great and i have 13,000 miles on it.
We took delivery of my Wife's 2016 about 2 months ago with the 3.2l V6. Now at ~1100 miles. No transmission issues, and the V6 gives it some pretty good zip.
You cant go wrong with the v6. Drive both and see just whats going on and if theres any snow get the 4x4 just in case. You may not think you need the xtra 90 hp with the v6 but you never no. The v6 is about 1600 buxs more but i think its well worth it and my wife also likes the v6 over the 4 banger. Just remember the 4x4 is 500 lbs heavier than the fwd.
