22" Rim Thread...

Installed 22 x 9" XO Miami's on my 2014 Trailhawk. Tire size is 265/40/22. No rubbing!

Re: 22" Rim Tread...

I bet you feel every tar line in the pavement with the low profile tires, can't even imagine going down a dirt road let alone off road. Please don't get wrong, to each their own.

you're not gonna believe me, but after riding on the factory 17's for 4 months, I feel no difference except better handling around corners.

Thx, I think so too...It's funny to me how most people on these Jeep forums have negative comments about Sport rims & Tires. Last I checked, SUV stood for SPORT UTILITY VEHICLE.

It might help to air down those rollers before going over speed bumps.......

Re: 22" Rim Tread...

I've had several cars with 40 series tires; nothing donked but all performance oriented: currently a Challenger R/T with 20's. Keep an eye on the tire pressure and DON'T air them down. You'll be looking at tire and wheel damage at the first pothole or rock.

..........Dodgeboy speaks the serious truth. No real off-roading for that kit and watch the hard launch over speedbumps.

Re: 22" Rim Tread...

Looks good. We always up sized our old Cherokee tires and was waiting to see if anyone did it on the new ones. It's the missing ingredient to make these Cherokees have a nice stance.
