Nothing is free. If they are advertising it as something they include, you pay for it somewhere.

As for "how to get the best deal" - just make sure your local dealer shows you the factory invoice and gives you a good deal relative to that. My dealership has a preset discount relative to invoice that we give to every customer. That's not to say that if you need another hundred or two off we can't do it - we want to earn your business - because the guy down the road WILL give you that little discount to steal your business away.

Just remember that buying a car isn't just about price. You have to buy from the guy who you can trust to give you good upfront information now, and will be there for you later on when you need service or have questions. That's the kind of dealer I strive to be every day. The bad dealers make it harder for guys like me to do it well, because people come in the door expecting me to try to squeeze them for every last dollar. Don't deal with places like that, reward the good and honest folks trying to make a living.

Ok after the build I was in nitro creek yard... Yesterday they took it to Dana yard in MI.

The name sound familiar , I think that is the name of the freight co. ( truck )

They need to make a statement on what is going on and have all of the assuming stop.

Re: Ordering my TRAILHAWK

Just ordered a Trailhawk this weekend. Very excited about trying out the car, but nervous about when they will actually start shipping!

Re: Ordering my TRAILHAWK

You will be fine .. The way it looks your car will build in 4 to 5 wks With shipping 6 to 7 wks. They will be released by then... I believe mine will ship very soon... And another gent on the forum just found out his ships on the 25th

Now you can sit and wait like we did , and look at this site every day to see the status.. Congrats!!!!

If you have an iPhone or android there is the Uconnect access app.

Re: Ordering my TRAILHAWK

Anyone know if heated leather seats are available in the Trailhawk without the Technology Group? I have built a vehicle several times and lately I needed the Technology Group to add the Cold Weather Group with the heated seats. It wasn't like that before. The Jeep site is showing more Cherokees in transit, but none that I have seen are Trailhawks. Hopefully get to see one at the Seattle Auto Show this weekend.

Yes, you can order the cold weather package without the technology group. I was able to do that this past weekend, even though it won't let you on the website. Must be a glitch.

In anticipation of delivery being just around the corner I'm at my dealership doing the deal and paperwork. Going well so far.

Its done. All I've gotta do when it arrives is grab the keys. I'm very satisfied with the deal also.

They went all in on my trade in my opinion. ($27,500 for a 2012 4D Wrangler sport with leather). This is goofy high.

Final sticker price on my TrailHawk is $40,050 for every option except sun roof and engine block heater. "Invoice" is $38,120. My sales price is $37,300.

I ended up getting additional warranty which is something I never do. The F&I guy lowered my interest rate by 2.5% to 3.8% to hook me on the warranty and I went with it. Its 10 years 100,000 miles bumper to bumper with $100 deductible.

So now I'm waiting..... still
