That will be included in the upcoming Affordable Car Act.

The only thing in that list that should make a difference in bumping the weight is the oil cooler. I suppose the different drive ratio( 3.25 standard changed to 3.51 )could matter due to the 9spd trans but I don't believe it is enough to make the difference.

If the gearing really matters you will know right off.
It could well be that the gearing really matters in the towing specs limitations. There was an earlier thread where someone asked for the HP & torque curves for the V-6....but no reply. Has anyone seen the graphs or have access to them? Posting would be appreciated.

Interesting comparison:

My 2002 Liberty: V-6, 3.7L, 210 HP and 235 FP @ ??? RPM
vs.
2014 Cherokee: V-6, 3.2L, 271 HP and 239 FP @ ???? RPM
......29% increase in HP, but only 2% increase in torque.
......much different engine.

HP & torque charts would be helpful. Anyone???

TIA.

Have you noticed our vehicle will stop dead if you open the door while driving?

I have done it twice while maneuvering. Very unnerving. (a life long habit)
The Cherokee can break you of this habit pretty quick!

Have you experienced this? Is there a program defeat? I guess it puts on the parking brake.

Indeed I have experienced this and yes it automatically sets the parking brake

I spent some serious hours putting my TrailHawk through its paces and I'm getting to know it pretty well. Here's some feedback at 650 miles.

1) Its exceeded EVERY expectation I had.

2) Its fun to drive.

3) People dig it.

4) Adaptive Cruise Control with Crash Mitigation is AMAZING.

5) The 8.4 Uconnect on its own is enough reason to rule out every other competitor in the segment.

Allpar.com has info and specs for the 2014 Jeep Cherokee. No charts, but some hp & torque data can be culled from tables in the pages.

It's a 3G service.
That's after setting up the Uconnect Access account.

It disappoints me that they have no LTE option, well I guess since they use Sprint it figures. They should give a Verizon 4g option.

Still though, sprint has lte so why not future proof it? They aren't going to put verizon in there because that would probably be twice as much, a lot more useful but a lot more money.

Well, that's disappointing. That means its get about 1 mpg at 123mph but an F-18 cruises at over 400 mph at that rate! Geez Jeep can't you do better!

Ok don't write me, I am kidding. I too wonder what it tops out at.
