Chrysler has corrected the calibration problem and is applying a fix to about 10,000 vehicles that were first off the production lines . . . . First shipments could start as early as next week . . . The auto maker plans to restore a second production shift . . . on Monday. . . . "As we continue to refine the vehicle's powertrain software, we are implementing a plan that will allow us to make the required updates more quickly than anticipated, thereby making additional layoffs unnecessary . . ."
