Diff Ratio

What ratio would be best for a daily driver V6 TH that will spend (as most, I suspect) most of its life as a grocery getter, tow car behind a motorhome?

I don't believe you have a choice..With the 3.2 V6 you get a 3.251. If you add the tow group, it goes to 3.517.

Theres only 2 ratios you can get and the 3.25 which is standard or the 3.51 with tailer tow package. There both about the same as far as gas mileage. If you dont need 4 wh drive then get the latatude or limited 3.2 v6 2 wh drive as there 479 lbs lighter than the trailhawk. The 4 cyl has 4.08 ratio.

Jim, in order to tow it, he has to have AD2. Optional on Limited and Latitude and is only available with 4 x 4

As others have said, the diff ratio isn't going to matter much for a daily driver & toad. In most cases (e.g. Blue Ox, Demco, Roadmaster) you will loose the TH tow hooks when you install the base plates. Other options as you know are the Limited/Latitude AD2.
