How so? The angles are a little better on the Cherokee but that is about it, sure, the Cherokee gets a rear locker but even with quadratrac 2 with the brake lock diffs I bet the Grand keeps right up with it, and can tow more too.

But for the same price on a GC 4x4 you will not get all the features like the brake lock diffs. So no, it will not have the same capabilities. Would it get the job done, probabaly.

In order to get a GC for the same price as my TH, I have to start with a Larado E 4x4. And that can not even be provisioned close to the interior options that come standard on the Cherokee Trailhawk.

Brake lock diffs come standard on the base quadratrack 1 setup, they are stadard on every grand cherokee, and i think on all of the cherokees as well. You are correct that you cannot get the same options, it would cost you about 1-2k more.

According to the epa the tigershark is rated at 19 city and 25 highway in the Trailhawk. In my opinion the increase in city mileage is not worth the decrease in power.

Honestly, Most Cherokees are going to be the opposite... 70 or 80 city.

My daily commute is 42 miles round trip. I live 1/2 mile from the highway and my office is just off the highway at the other end. Nice steady highway driving. The rest I threw in to account for local trips to the store.
