Flip ’n Stow™ Front Passenger Seat Storage

Just got home from Florida and saw our new Limited for the first time. VERY nice. Messy outside so I'm reluctant to take it out of the garage and get it dirty.

Started checking out features. Just cannot figure out how to access the passenger seat storage location. The manual makes it fairly clear that this is a standard feature. I'm now convinced that either someone screwed up at the factory and we don't have such a storage location OR it is tougher to get into than Fort Knox.

Anyone else have the same problem?

GR

Laughs, if your Limited is like mine and has the vented seats the under seat storage area is where they put the equipment that does that ventilating. You lose the underseat storage area for that reason. I agree they do a poor job of pointing that out in the brochure and owner's manual.

Interesting. When I watched the video that possibility crossed my mind. Yes they do a TERRIBLE job on this feature. They should make it clear that if you take the luxury option you lose the storage. I guess they were too busy trying to fix the "learn mode" of the transmission.

I would rather have the ventilated seats.

Storage is better than nothing, but ventilated seats would have felt great about 50% of the year here in Texas. They don't offer them on the Trailhawk

We are back north for Xmas and my wife had me (her personal valet) set the heated seats and steering wheel to come on automatically when she starts the car. About half way to Florida next month I'll have to remember to turn them off.
