I'm trying to find the GCWR for my 2014 3.2L Latitude 4x4 with tow package. The manual explains that GCWR is the total permissible weight of the vehicle and trailer but I don't see the actual weight listed in the manual. The label on the door lists the GVWR and GAWR but not the GCWR. Is it as simple as adding the 4500# tow limit to the GVWR?

Re: Gcwr

Generally GCWR is the sum of GVWR and GTW unless stated differently by the manufacturer.

Array is correct in the formula.
But the one issue after you add up the people and cargo in the vehicle is the weight on the ball hitch of the vehicle. I have always considered that part of the vehicle weight as you are adding 200+ lbs. to the vehicle.
You are also towing the full weight of the trailer so that remains separate in its entirety.
I like to keep things simple so I just add the vehicle contents (estimate) and trailer loaded weight and keep it at 80-90% of my tow rating. That's my safety factor. If I need more it would have been a Grand Cherokee V8 with tow.
