Apparently it is a 50/50 deal whereby the railcar number is assigned to the shipping records. If it is, Milous can supply the number, the the NS & UP customer centers can identify where/when the car will be....

Has to be actually on the railcar is my understanding, and that isn't even guaranteed that the car # will be available.

RATS!!!! ... Yesterday my Sales Rep told me that my order has reverted to D Status. It had been in D1 Status since February 21st.

The frustration and despair increases again.

I think yours is getting ready to ship.

The dealer sent me the full listing of the status, mine as of this am is still in "Ramp Compare Inventory". Unless the status changes, Milous only updates every few days or the status thread would become unmanageble in length. Mine had a "Special Authority to Move, on the 13th, yet no movement. Weird.

Yes, it looks like I may get on a train today (or tomorrow). However, there have been instances where this was a feint, so as Milous often says, "you never know...."

Still, I have another 4 - 5 days of train travel beyond yours, so you may still win this one.

I have never seen one get "unscheduled"... As you are not a Premium Member I cannot update on status but if you want to PM me your Last 8, I would be happy to look and at least verify if your rep was being honest.

Seeing as he ordered EcoGreen and they were having problems with that paint or the availability of that paint, I wonder if a return to D status from D1 indicates that they are seriously considering cancelling EcoGreen.

I would think if that were the case, the dealer would have been able to advise him of a hold on his order. D1 means that parts etc have been lined up and it has a theoretical gateway schedule (a date and time to hit the line). I am interested because often the dealers say one thing and that is not entirely the WHOLE story.
