Well Gunny's is on a Railcar. The correct one seems to be the question now.

Yeah!! Looks like mine is finally on a rail car and delivery date has been changed from 4/2 to 3/31.

Gunny, Just curious, what does yours mean "Pulled from Industry"?

As of tonight's update, mine might be going by truck from Toledo Nitro Creek yard.

Gunny, you might be correct, I may get mine first, but probably not Friday as scheduled. Although, you never know. I just do not want to get my hopes up.

I don't know if this is correct or not, or just my perception:

I think the plant is regarded as "Industry" - as long as a vehicle is in the care, custody and control of the plant, then it is in "Industry".

When the plant puts the vehicle on a railcar, it is transferring the care and control to the rail carrier. However, the railcar may still be on plant property immediately after being loaded. Therefore, when the railcar is moved from the plant to a rail yard, but not necessarily connected to an engine, then it has been "Pulled from Industry". Mack Yard (as mine is now) is just a staging yard for the railcar. From here it will be built into a train with others, and begin the journey.

Don't know if that's correct or not, but that's my perception...

(Anyone else please chime in if I am totally off base on this, please....)

That's like the chute to load the railway.

Should be 1 - 2 days.

I did a search of MOTS and only 4 other vehicles went through Matzinger Yard, a Limited, a Summit and two Cherokee Trailhawks. Weird. A Google search shows Matzinger Yard as a train yard also. How did it get from Detroit to Toledo? Weird Weird Weird

I'm in "North Yard" today.

Detroit must have 8 - 10 yards to service all 3 manufacturer's plants. I think the train shuttles around, building railcars onto the train until it's complete.

North Yard looks like the final yard before the completely built train finally leaves the Detroit area on the journey.

I think that's why we see several days in Detroit yards before it starts moving out of state. Unless you are the last car on the train being built, and then you see an almost immediate hookup and then move out of Michigan.
