I actually like it in your pictures. It is a nice contrast to the shiny black paint and it looks like it matches the rest of the black trim. Looks really nice to my eyes.

Re: Got an FYI surprise

So- I am the other half of SacsTC...and this is one of the things he and I agree on- I am not a fan of the decal. The decals don't hold up in heat and we plan to have this Jeep for a very long time so I want the appearance to hold up for years. The decal will not make it in the long term.

Can't someone have an Off-Road vehicle that doesn't have to look like an Off-Road vehicle? Some of us females like to dress up and go out on the town BUT have lots of fun on the back roads too!!!

BTW...expect to hear from me more in the future

Re: Got an FYI surprise

With a hair dryer you should be able to easily heat the decal up and peel it off, then use 3M adhesive remover available at any auto parts store to clean up the hood. If you do this as soon as you take delivery the paint on the hood should look like there was never a decal there to begin with.

Having said that, I love the decal and would leave it. If nothing else it'll protect that section of the hood from rock chips and bird feces.
