Headlights

New 2014 Headlights come with the Philips HIR2 9012 bulbs. Found out today. Unless you have the HID's. I have a 2014 Latitude. It has the HIR2. I upgraded the fogs to LED 5000k, sweet! they are psx24w/2504. Plug and Play.

Thanks for the info!

Since the Cherokee uses HIR2/ 9012 bulbs you would need a 9006 HID kit for the headlights and a 5202 HID kit for the fog lights. If you want to get LED bulbs for the fog lights than you can get the matching PSX24W for it.

At this time were not sure if the Cherokee requires a relay harness, resistors or capacitors.

Re: Headlights

If you buy anything other than the 2504 and the 9012, you might have to mod the tabs. some hid kits might not work for headlights, because the enclosure behind the light is real tight.

Re: Headlights

Correct.

You definitely want to make sure to get proper PSX24W LED bulbs for the fogs to get a true replacement.

Re: Headlights

LOL, says it in the description "Sold in pairs". Headlamps and fog lights are almost always sold in pairs...along with turn signals , etc.

I have a 2014 Cherokee Trailhawk. I see in the owner's manual it lists the fog lights as PSX24W and I just want to make sure that if I upgrade my fog lights, the ones referenced above are direct replacements and do not require any modification. They are just plug and play, correct?

Also how easy is it to change them? I'm on Long Island, and there's snow and slush, and I don't have a garage or anything, so spending any extra time under the vehicle is not something I want to be doing. Thanks!
