My GC has the pano roof. And it's too cold for me on the BRP pretty much year round. Would much rather have the pano roof with the shade pulled back and not have hat cold ass 60 degree summer air coming in.

If I was going to subject myself to that sort of cold, I'd do it in a real convertible. A cloth top like that for an every day car is asking for thieves, discomfort, and problems. That's why nobody else is making them, lol.

I will post a picture if that happens though.

Re: Heres the 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Not sure what to think... The Chinese loved the XJ. So who's job is on the chopping block over this?

And I thought the original Cherokee replacement, the Commander was a cluster.

Jeep had a winning platform and design with the XJ... best selling mid-size SUV in history.

How did that get screwed up?

I've had more offers for my 1991 Cherokee than any vehicle I've ever owned. And that's with 180K miles on the clock.

Jeep... it's a bold styling experiment. Call it anything you want just don't call it a Cherokee.
I agree 100% brother...

I wonder how Jeep is gonna handle this...we will see...

Little headlight shape change and it doesn't look bad at all.

Umm, How was the commander a replacement for the XJ? The liberty was the Cherokees original replacement.

Don't think so.... the Commander (mid-size SUV) came out after the Cherokee (mid-size SUV) was discontinued. With IFS.

Sales were glim due to lack of live axles in a mid-size SUV 4-door configuration.. Jeep responded with the JK Unlimited years later, however they lost a huge customer base like myself. Therefore I responded and went up-scale, between mid-size and large SUV and purchased a Toyota Land Cruiser. It was more than I wanted to spend, but the offroad capability was there in a respectable package.

The Liberty ... Is in fact a compact SUV and therefore is not the XJ replacement.

I'm sure Jeep would like to beleve that... However that's far from the truth and reality from the XJ owner's perspective. That's me and many other loyal Jeep XJ owners.

And now the Cherokee moniker has been trashed with this abomination.

Sad day..

The commander was a full size 7 passenger vehicle bigger then the Grand Cherokee. The only thing that resembled the XJ was that it was boxy.
