Thanks, but I figured that out on the 8.4, the 5" radio is the one that is giving us issues.

The abridged one that came with it or the full one you download/have mailed to you? Cuz it tells you for the 8.4 in the full manual. Haven't looked at any of the 5" stuff though.

Both, I downloaded one and looked through the supplemental guide that came with it.

Thanks.

Did you try disconnecting the battery? If you have try it again but leave it disconnected for at least 30 minutes...this should clear all presets (I cant guarantee it will work...it did on the older vehicles)...then reconnect and go back and preset only the ones that you want to keep.

That doesn't work. There are presets in there from the factory.

Re: How do I erase radio pre-sets?

Well, I was at the dealer today. They couldn't erase them. When I asked why the "return to factory resets" on the settings menu didn't seem to reset anything, they didn't have an answer.

Re: How do I erase radio pre-sets?

If the only reason is so you don't have to go through them all with your steering wheel control, set your 5 or 6 stations, and then just set the same 5 or 6 again.

Thats for the FM yes you're correct, but I'm pretty sure the SXM has blank stations and it will skip those.

I really like what logcabinjeeper's response...sometimes the answer is as simple as that...in fact I think it will get them to their favorite stations much quicker....LOL....
