I'm mising something-Select Trac buttons

I must be dense. I cant seem to find a decent explanation for what the outer two buttons do on the Select Trac II dial. I get the left ones (4WD low, Lock). The other two (top one looks like some kind of hill decent control and the other looks like going uphill maybe?). Couldnt find anything in the owners manual. Anyone know what they are for and when they are used?

What make/model is your vehicle? If it's not a Jeep Cherokee (KL), this may not be the best place to get an answer to your question. The 4x4 KLs have a Selec-Terrain knob that differs depending on model.

Is the button showing uphill to prevent roll back maybe?
