Given we'll be in Florida all winter we could well end up not seeing a new Limited until April or May.

If it was a perfect world, we'd be in AU from mid October to the end of November and then on to NZ until mid December (we did that in 2009 - prior visits were all Jan to March). Then, we'd head to FLA in early January.

BUT, DW (rv lingo for Dear Wife) now refuses to ever fly again so no more AU or NZ. "She who must be obeyed" (as Leo Kern put it in Rumpole of the Bailey) gets her way I'm afraid to say.

Agree with Leo Granddriver125 - we must always be obeyed. :D Shame about the flying bit though. How about a cruise then - at least to NZ anyway? (I'm a Kiwi so tend to be a bit biased).

and "she" prefers the South Island.
Well that wife of yours GD is spot on because the SI is the best place in all of NZ. ;)

I'm a Mainlander and a Cantabrian ie: Born and bred in Christchurch. We don't 'get' those North Island folk and they don't 'get' us.

Spent Christmas just gone, back home (it was our turn to cross the ditch) and tried to get a JGC as a rental car but no go. They just don't have them as rentals.

Have you been there since the quakes? Horrendous damage but the rebuild is happening slowly.

We live about an hour and a bit south of Sydney. Close enough so it's not that painful travelwise if we need to go to Sydney (but we avoid it where possible) but far enough away and in a place, that if I forget what's over the hill and 80 miles north as the crow flies, I could be anywhere.

In a small valley, in a place, that if you ask 90% of Sydneysiders have they heard of it, they would look at you blankly.

We get to view sensational pyrotechnic thunderstorms as they cross the Sydney basin. Weather, my other great love. :)

We are way off-topic here, but since there is no other news with regards to the Cherokee, I think we're safe.

Oh, and on that subject, disregard my signature. I think I may have just convinced him to halt the purchase of a 300 SRT until he actually sees and drives the Cherokee. I think I might win this one in the end. :D

I'm up in the middle of the night watching F1 from Korea. Mark's car just burned up. A course vehicle came out before the safety car and it sure looked to be a JEEP.

Anyone else see this and the Jeep?
