Jeep Easter Eggs

Good thing we have YouTube videos from the vehicle reviewers otherwise we might not find these hidden treasures in our Jeeps! I am aware of 3 (so far) in the Cherokee. The best one we discovered last night. We thought #3 below was a manufacturing flaw in the windshield!

1) "Since 1941" on the steering wheel
2) Moab trail map on the underside of the passenger seat storage bin
3) WWII Jeep climbing a slope at the bottom center of the windshield.

There are other Jeep design cues on the vehicle: trapezoidal wheel wells, Wrangler half door inspired front door / window angle, and infotainment system shape like a Jeep grill and headlights.

My 2011 Grand Cherokee has a Wrangler grill on the daytime running lights.

Are there more?!

Re: Jeep Easter Eggs

Yes, the logo "Since 1941" got me wondering last month when we took delivery of our new Limited. May 1941 was my birth month and it occurred to me wouldn't it be neat if Jeep offered a special discount for those born in that year. My dealer said yes, that would be a good idea and suggested I talk to Sergio! Anyone know his number?

Re: Jeep Easter Eggs

I believe there is trademark grill and round headlights stamped into one of the plastic covers in the engine compartment. Usually the jeep grill headlight combination is in the head or tail light assemblies as well. the new Renegade has a ton of them... looks like they got too cute with them.

Yes there is a grill and headlights in the plastic under the hood by the wiper fluid reservoir. We had found that one, but I forgot to list it.

Re: Jeep Easter Eggs

Furthermore, those of us lucky enough to have park assist would have noticed in the EVIC the two WWII Jeeps parked along side the parking bay you will be driven into.

I've tried out this feature just once - in the parking lot outside a grocery store. It tried to put me into the cart corral!

Re: Jeep Easter Eggs

I saw the map on the seat cushion and wondered what trail it was!

Re: Jeep Easter Eggs

The trail map on the underside of the seat is Hell's Revenge in Moab.
