Hi Guys,
I have a MY2015 KL TH with the Comfort/Convenience package with the Keyless enter and go. I used the uConnect app to start the car remotely and walked out with a co-worker to demo the new ride. Yesterday (Three weeks after picking up the vehicle), I walk out to the car with the co-worker and use the handle to unlock the car so they can look in. I open the liftgate from inside the car and put my things in the trunk.
After showing them around, I press the button to activate the car from the remote start and nothing changes. I let the auto-start roll out (15 minutes) and walk away from the vehicle. I come back and try it again, only to get the "Key Fob not detected" message. Apparently between unlocking the car and trying to start it the Fob forgot what car it was for, or vice versa. I got it started by pressing the fob to the ignition and drove home. When I got home I tried to change the batteries in the old and it still did not work. Remote start, lock/unlock, panic, liftgate, nada. The other Fob works fine, and now I have to go back to my dealer to reprogram the broken one.
Has this happened to anyone else? If so, what caused it? Somewhat annoying within the first 30 days of the vehicle.
