I am getting ready to purchase a 2015 Cherokee Limited 4x4 and am looking for opinions on purchasing Mopar's lifetime maxcare protection plan.

I have the following questions:
- What are your opinions on the plan?
- What is a good price for the plan?

Any input/opinions are much appreciated.

You will find more information on the Mopar Service Protection Plan by doing a search on this website. Having said that I have the Plan and bought it online from the Zeigler Auto Group: Mopar Vehicle Protection: Extended Warranties from Chrysler. SAVE 60%! Quick Quotes. Buy Online. Give Bob Cline a call at number on their website and mention you are a Jeep Garage member. Be sure you don't take his first offer as it is only for $50 off. Refuse it and ask for his Best Price. I think the Plan is a no brainier if you plan to keep the Jeep beyond the factory warranty. The sweet spot seems to be purchasing it with the $100 deductible. It has had a couple of price increases since I purchased it but you should still be able to get it under $2,400. Be sure you are getting a Mopar Service Plan as there are other Max extended warranties floating around. You might also want to consider the Mopar Tire and Wheel Service Plan. Replacing just one of your wheels would pay for the 7 year unlimited miles no deductible plan.

Also You might want to go to several of the web sites for these Chrysler dealer plans.
Ziegler auto group (Bob Cline) is a good one to deal with.
But I would attempt to get your dealer to match their printed offer from their web site as you will be able to roll it into your financing if you so wish.
It will show up in your Mopar owners connect account if you set one up.
If the dealer does not want to match it you can always buy it on line after the sale and still save a bit off the web price.
Mine matched it, though not happy about it. His solo offer was $900 higher at the time.

They are if your dealer will budge/negotiate. Mine would not and was $700 (this after being $900 too high was pointed out to him was ridiculous) more then Zeigler's even with using my mother's surviving spouse Chrysler discount. I am all for supporting my local dealer where I purchased my Jeep but it is silly for me to just hand him $700 I didn't need to. I was very comfortable working with Bob Cline at Zeigler's and put the Mopar Lifetime Service Contract on my Jeep Credit Card (interest free because I just recently opened it). Putting it on my Jeep Credit Card caused me to earn enough reward points to get 2, $50 SiriusXM gift cards to use towards my upcoming renewal after the free trial period ends. So it was a win-win for everybody but my local "stealer". He got greedy and tried to make a killing but got caught by someone who had done their homework ahead of time and he ended up making nothing.
