Re: Navigation upgrade

Yes for that additional feature there is. But to have the nav option no additional monthly charge.

Re: Navigation upgrade

It's something I wished my new Laredo had, but having used the GPS in my wifes 2012 Gen 5 Subaru Legacy (liberty in Aust) I'm happy to use my Navman GPS unit on the dash, it comes with lifetime free map updates.

I would think so. I got mine factory installed as that was one of the prerequisites on my new Jeep. I am not sure exactly how the dealer vs factory install differ. Should be much the same as it can be adjusted through the menu options on the u-connect/radio screen.
I love the turn by turn option in the speed o cluster.
I Love the speed reminders if you go over the limit by an amount you set in the options menu.
I love the ability to put the gas and dinning places on my map. (travel Link).
I love road construction icons on my map. (Sirius traffic and travel link)
I love it that now I do not have to set up my portable unit when I want to use it.
I am waiting for a map update mostly to update the speed limits (suppose to be due out soon).
I would just ask the dealer exactly what differs between the Factory and dealer installed GPS. Also the new map update due out soon.
You will have a blast with it.
